What Happened?

After running gala -r I'm running into multiple issues:

  1. Weirdly small header above some elementary OS applications, like Files and Photos
    Photos with small header
    Files with small header

  2. Applications like Firefox, Clapper and Loupe have additional borders around windows.
    Clapper with additional border 2
    Loupe with additional border
    Firefox with additional border

  3. Firefox's fullscreen is limited to the boundingbox of the window.
    Firefox fullscreen issue

Steps to Reproduce

Restart Gala by running gala -r

Expected Behavior

Window headers don't change, windows don't get additional borders, fullscreen uses the full screen.

OS Version

7.x (Horus)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

For some reason GTK has some issues when restarting gala, to fix them you need to restart gala once again :)

Thanks for the tip lenemter, I'm afraid that re-running gala -r doesn't change anything for me.

You also need to restart the applications I think.

I'm afraid that doesn't help either. I've tried restarting Files (making sure with htop all processes were killed), Clapper and Loupe.
