So we can't have any fixes to basic functionality until a unicorn app reaches v1.0 when it's only v0.4.x currently? That's absurd. |

Steps to reproduce
So yeah, is Element getting abandoned then? I see barely ever any releases, and notifications have been broken for literal YEARS. And the developers seem to ignore issues. I don't remember the last problem I had that ever got fixed. Notifications get fixed, broken, fixed, broken, and that is a CORE FUNCTION for a CHAT APP. And then I go look at the endless supply of bug reports that just don't even get acknowledged, let alone fixed.
This looks like it's circling the drain to me. What's going on here?
