If you search for DENIED you will find the domains which were blocked. Specifically you have It says Failed to negotiate ssl connection to client. See these two answers: |
I am using my own rootCA certificate and have not setup a proxy.
I doubt whether that can cause a problem since I am able to get
to accounts.microsoft.com.
Do I need to use nocheckcertsitelist file? If yes, which site to add?
accounts.microsoft.com or compass-ssl.microsoft.com
and whether doing so is safe?

Please see my updated answer. |
I recently installed Edubuntu 23.10 and setup e2guardian without a proxy for use by my kids. It seems to work fine for the most part, i.e., it does block some websites, but some websites are not loading although they are not blocked (i.e. I see a blank webpage). For example, I can login to Microsoft Teams account, but I see a blank page. Documents in the related Office account also don't load. I have included office.com and teams.microsoft.com in my exceptionsitelist file.
