innoextract didn't extract all useful file from an Inno Setup exe installer.

Other tools (like innounp) extract also

  • iss (Inno Setup Installer Script)
  • setup.png (icon used by exe file of the installer)

Then innounp extract ll files that can edit and use d to make a new version of the installer.

innoextract didn't do it.
Just extract contents of exe file.

Could you please implement the same features of innounp (extract isss file and png icon)?

Thanks.

The iss file is not stored in the setup in it's raw from, innounp just reconstructs it from the compiled setup data. Something like that may be added to innoextract at some point but it is not a priority.

@dscharrer

I used in the past innounp to extract main installer to check it and if I can to transform a single language installer into multi-language installer.

I hope to see soon an option that was like available in innounp but is not currently available in innoextract.

Yes i want to do more than extract file.
Now there is no more option to do what I explain before to the installer.

Thanks.

Any other options how to unpack .iss from installers by Inno Setup ?
