Hi Don,

Is there an option to set the seed from where to start the analysis? I would like to run the MCMC multiple times from different starting 'locations' to assess whether the runs are converging on the same likelihood.

Thanks,

Mark

You can choose the initial values for the parameters in the 'phybreak' function. Every time you run 'phybreak' it creates a random initial condition for all variables (from the prior), so running it multiple times creates different initial conditions.
It is not (yet) possible to set all variables as you choose, only if you would have an obkData object as data, including phylogenetic tree.
What would you have liked to set?

Cheers
Don
