@domoritz 👋🏽 - While I know this isnt in active dev, I tried using it with a chart with mark_point' with encoding x = 'timestamp:T' with a 2-d brush selection. The altair_component returns a chart with all the points squashed into bins along the x axis, which leads me to think the arrow loader might be inadvertently mangling the timestamp value while returning the copied dataset to streamlit. As a result, the selection returns nothing as well.

Will try to dive in and debug but just wanted to raise

Thanks for raising it and looking into it. This is really just a proof of concept for me and I think Streamlit needs to build this natively.
