Please describe your issue:i tried all possible version it still doesnt start because it need permission or something

Same as well to me, the project is very outdated and some of the dependencies are not built with ChromeOS anymore after the later versions. One project I've seen in early development as an alternative is Submarine. It's a very beta and takes a significant amount of shell script experience. I'm still working on fixing bugs for the installation but hopefully, someone has more luck.
