@freakboy3742 suggested that we do an acknowledgment of country in the 2022 opening remarks, and we did, but we didn't think of it ourselves. We discussed it and decided to, but hadn't prepared in advance.

What can we do in 2023 to engage indigenous tech communities, acknowledge indigenous projects and contributions, and more productively engage with the land the conference happens on?
