Deployment

Python

  • python-pip
  • python-virtualenv
  • python-dev or python-devel

Readability-lxml

  • libxslt1-dev
  • libxml2-dev

RabbitMQ

  • deb http://www.rabbitmq.com/debian/ testing main to /etc/apt/sources.list
  • Download https://www.rabbitmq.com/rabbitmq-signing-key-public.asc and apt-key add
  • rabbitmq-server

PostgreSQL

  • deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ precise-pgdg main to /etc/apt/sources.list
  • wget ca-certificates
  • Download https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc and apt-key add
  • postgresql-9.4
  • postgresql-server-dev-9.4
  • postgresql-contrib-9.4

PhantomJS

The PhantomJS in the Ubuntu repositories has some issues, so it is required to compile it.

Install the following packages:

  • build-essential g++ flex bison gperf ruby perl \ libsqlite3-dev libfontconfig1-dev libicu-dev libfreetype6 libssl-dev \ libpng-dev libjpeg-dev python libx11-dev libxext-dev

Redis

Have to build Redis

  • Instructions
  • tcl8.5
  • wget http://download.redis.io/releases/redis-stable.tar.gz
  • tar xzf redis-stable.tar.gz
  • cd redis-stable
  • make
  • make test
  • make install
  • cd utils
  • sudo ./install_server.sh

Nginx

  • apt-get -y install nginx
  • /etc/nginx/nginx.conf from https://gist.githubusercontent.com/dhamaniasad/f3fa4edb705c62623814/raw/c4dcaa202eb660b0cfb3da819af18770a8b6970d/gistfile1.txt
  • https://gist.github.com/dhamaniasad/f3fa4edb705c62623814
