Using importxpub on an account that already has address use, does not properly discover the used address and set the index. Using rescanwallet does not result in proper discovery either for the imported xpub either. It was confirmed that the index numbers had in fact already been used. If the accountaddressindex is not manually set, it will result in address reuse. Using accountsyncaddressindex to set a higher index is not effective either, and accountaddressindex shows it still set to 0 even after setting it to a higher number.
A couple times I was able to use accountsyncaddressindex to attempt to increment the address index by 1 or 2, even though accountaddressindex did not show the change, and then run a rescanwallet where it was then able to discover the proper index, but not in a consistent repeatable fashion.
