Hi @microboxes I just found out your issue. By default, on mac you have to use (shift)+option to make [ and {

When you have focus on your windows client, you have to use also the control key in addition:

  • shift+control+option -> {
  • shift+option -> [

First of all, there must be no problem with the keyboard. On the server side, all combinations can be entered normally. On the client side, several combinations were tested, but only these two combinations could not be input normally. Other combinations are no problem.
option + ´ => { no
option + ` => [ no
option + ç => } yes
option + + => ] yes
option + 1 => | yes
option + 2 => @ yes
option + 3 => # yes

I have the same problem as you, you can fix it by setting hotkeys on macOS(as a server);
For example, set the hot key shift+command+ ' on macOS, map to windows input shift+', which can be entered ~
