Non-Standard Dependency Specifier with pip 24.0 #487

"DEPRECATION: textract 1.6.5 has a non-standard dependency specifier extract-msg<=0.29.*. pip 24.0 will enforce this behaviour change. A possible replacement is to upgrade to a newer version of textract or contact the author to suggest that they release a version with a conforming dependency specifiers. Discussion can be found at pypa/pip#12063"

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Just used "pip install seaborn"

Expected behavior
A clean and complete download of Seaborn with no messages pertaining to dependency issues

  • OS: [Windows 10 64 bit]
  • Textract version [1.6.3]
  • Python version [\3.11.6]
  • Pip version [23.3.1]
  • Virtual environment (no)
