libzdb 3.1 is from 2015

libzdb 3.2.3 doesn't have build issues and seems to have significant number of fixes

Perhaps you might be able to use the ubunto Dockerfile from https://github.com/dbmail/dbmail/tree/main/docker as the alpine libzdb maintainers haven't updated the APKBUILD
