Many new AI transcription tools are looking for audio only streams to create Live translations/transcription. If we could get mp3 streaming output that would be great> Similar to the Icecast module.

ffmpeg -i input.m3u8 -vn -c:a libmp3lame -b:a 128k output.mp3
