  • I searched for any existing report about this website issue to avoid opening a duplicate.
  • I can reproduce this website issue in a new, unmodified web browser profile with Dark Reader installed as the only extension.

Website Issue Description

Activating Dark Reader on the DocCheck site causes the site to slow down considerably. This is most noticeable on individual article pages and on mobile devices (less processing power). Reproduced on clean installations of Firefox on Ubuntu and Android.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open site
  2. Refresh and take note of how quickly the site loads

@KenanHanke Was it always like this or did you notice it recently?

It's been like this for a long time, and I always thought the website itself was broken on Firefox for mobile (the only place I use Dark Reader), so I never opened an issue here.
