Prerequisites

  • I searched for any existing report about this bug to avoid opening a duplicate.
  • I can reproduce this bug in a new, unmodified web browser profile with Dark Reader installed as the only extension.
  • I understand I need to use the Broken Website Report template if this bug I am reporting occurs on a single website.

Bug Description

Whether "Detect dark theme" is enabled or not, whether the site is specifically in the disable site list in global settings, dark reader continues to be enabled on the website, but only when opened as a PWA, not in a tab. I cannot reproduce this issue in Kiwi browser.

Website Address

https://shrimple.aagaming.me/

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Install dark reader on edge canary on android
  2. Ensure that the extension is fully disabled on the site
  3. Install the site as a PWA
  4. Open the PWA

Expected Behavior

The extension should not be enabled on the site

Actual Behavior

The extension is enabled on the site and it looks pretty bad.
