Student able to select attendance status when Student password is On and Automatically select the highest available status is On

Hi team,

Please see steps to replicate below:

1. Create a course and enroll students.
2. Turn on edit mode.
3. Name: My attendance
   Group Mode: No Group
4. Go to Attendance Activities. Click Add Session.
   Type: All Students
   Date: today's date
   Time: 00:00 to 23:59
   student record
   Allow students to record their attendance = checked
   Auto Marking = Not Yes
   student password = any password value
   Automatically select the highest available status = checked
5. Log in as a student.
6. Go to Attendance Activities.
7. Click Send Attendance.
8. The screen will be presented below:
   
9. Once the student types the password, click "Absent" and "Save changes".
10. As teacher go to the Attendance and click the Session Take attendance.
11. RESULT: You will see that the selected attendance is the highest which is P (below screenshot)
    

Perhaps, for the student, the option to select P L E A should not be visible as the option Highest Available status is automatically selected? This happens only when set password is enabled/set.
