Polygon gates using density plots

• What were you trying to do? Create a polygon gate using a density plot
• What happened? I could not find an option to do this.
• What did you expect to happen? Have an option to create a polygon gate using a density plot.

Further information

I know how to create a polygon gate, which uses a dot plot.

However, I'd like to create the polygon gate using a density plot instead. I tried using the 2D Mixture Model (density gate), but while this looked useful, it didn't allow creating a manual polygon gate. When looking at the plot, I can see (at least) two distinct populations, which are less evident from the dot plot above.

Is it possible to create polygon gates from density plots?
