JuliaMono is a great font, and it would be nice if it were included in Nerdfonts #75

Hi there - thanks, I'm very happy you're using it...! In fact I think that anyone can create a nerdfont version of any font, licence permitting. (I briefly mentioned it here.) I had a quick look: you've got to download and install FontForge, then run some Python scripts, plus do the work to make the final PR. Probably not too difficult, but would require some time set aside to do it. On a quick look through that repo and related ones, I couldn't help noticing a number of issues relating to nerdfont-patched fonts - errors, spacing changes, misplaced glyphs, problems in certain apps and so on. Enough to make me think that careful checking of any patched font in various editing environments would be required. So - I'd be happy if anyone wanted to tackle this as an unofficial project ... I'm not planning to do this in the near future. |
