New uploads wipe out description and status data in Admin #232

New Data upload wiped out admin data such as descriptions and closures, with the requirement to reload all of this information again everytime there is an upload.
Was the upload done incorrectly that resulted in this issue?

This is as designed. We make it possible--and suggest with messaging--to download data before uploading new data.

This should addressed in a "user-experience" focused overhaul of the admin app.
