IBM does not currently provide an ARM database driver. As a result, this project can not be build and run directly on ARM systems, including Apple Silicone, without the use of Docker or some other translation layer.

As a workaround, we could develop a method of building without Informix support to support ARM systems that wish to connect to other data sources.
