@azrugger98 we would need to know what network requests are failing to assist you. Can you tell us that information? |
This is NOT a network request that is failing. |
Can you help us with errors from the developer console for the student? It can be a machine or browser thing. Also, there are different network requests that happen for teachers and students so it could also still be an issue. We can't help you till you provide us with the logs from the developer console or network tab. If we can reproduce the issue somehow, we can provide the solution. If you load the student account from a different machine or network, does it work? |
"If you load the student account from a different machine or network, does
it work?"
If I load the student account while logged into the system as a teacher on
the network, the account shows correctly.
The behavior replicates if I change wireless networks (if I login as a
student to the computer, then log in to the website as a student.) So this
tells me it is something in either the Google admin or GoGuardian setup.

Part of the problem I am faced with is that the environment that I am in does not allow us to use the developer console. |
So I have narrowed it down to a setting within Google admin for this particular OU. |
My students are not able to see the screen properly.
The students are using Chromebooks that were bought in bulk, so they are all the same model and they are all on the same wireless network.
The login works, but the screen will not show properly. I have taken screenshots of the student experience.
Although the students can muddle through it, I have to lend a lot of assistance to make this work.
If I log in using my credentials, teacher credentials, to the same computer, same wifi network it is fine.
I know this has something to do with something being filtered or blocked by either Google Workspace or GoGuardian, but I am stuck. I have whitelisted everything that Code Combat has provided in GoGuardian and Google Workspace.
Any ideas where to look?
