Hey, amitools is impressive! I'm curious if you've ever considered writing some sort of AREXX translation layer for Amiga AREXX applications/scripts to run in a linux shell?

To be honest I never used AREXX intensively enough to spark the interest for a Python reimplementation on my side...

With vamos you might be able to run AmigaOS rx directly, but I suspect that it will need to spawn a background process for rexxmast and that is not supported in vamos, yet...

Hi, thanks for your reply. In an idea world, some sort of on-the-fly translation between an AREXX script and stdio thing in a linux terminal would be cool, but totally understandable if it’s not a priority. Thanks. I guess we can probably close this out unless you’re interested in keeping it around for tracking.
