Hey there ✋ this is not an issue, I just wanted to share https://github.com/DroneDB/libnexus which is a wrapper library around nexus which exposes the nxsbuild and nxscompress functionality in a dependency-free library (doesn't require QT).

I hope it can be useful to others.
