Hmm, with further testing of the v1.002 in #5 I see some strange select behavior on Mac OS X on Chrome 44:

I didn’t hat a proper look but I only know this problem from Indesign. It sometimes uses the UPM as the height for the selection box but some ascender value as top corner. And if your ascender values don't align (if you have long winAscender but shorter typoAscender this might happen.

@davelab6 / @schriftgestalt Does Inknut-Antiqua still present this bad selection behaviour? Have you figured out a fix? If so, this could better inform me so that I can implement an automated check for this bad setting as part of FontBakery.

It has not been updated, AFAIK.
