From my understanding that code has never been open and that stuff you're seeing in the video is very out dated. (this was a quick answer, btw I answered you're other question to.)

I'm guessing it acted like a mobile command center web page.. I'm not sure if it actually used the phones hardware to run lucida. You do not need the mobile app to use lucida on a phone/tablet, all you need to do is start a lucida session on your host, open up your ports, and type in your hosts ip address with port 3000 at the end. For example (Where localhost is your ip) : http://localhost:3000/

I'm pretty sure you're right on that, but also that link you posted also does look familiar so I think you found the right source to answer fredhampton's question.
