Is there a step-by-step guide to building with mingw64 (32-bit), including the version of mingw64 used and the associated build environment?

sort of:

sudo apt install cmake mingw-w64
mkdir build
cd build

cmake -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=$(pwd)/../cmake/toolchain-mingw-x86.cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="/tmp/clamav" ..

or using toolchain-mingw-x64.cmake for 64bit
