This project turned out really great, but the ply files don't seem to be the same as the usual splat files. The existing web viewers and Unity projects can't properly display them. When viewing it on the web viewer, SuperSplat, all the scenes are just black.

Thanks. The viewer is a big problem for us now. Although we provide a Scaffold-GS Viewer in https://github.com/city-super/Scaffold-GS/tree/main/SIBR_viewers, the incompatibility between ours and original 3D-GS brings a lot of inconvenience. How to convert our .ply into the usual splat files is very valuable for future research.

The mip-splatting project also has compatibility issues with the ply files it generates, but they've provided a conversion script called create_fused_ply.py in their root directory. I wonder if it might be useful for your project.
