Help with serial connector on J4 needed

I bought a USB to ttl serial cable for connecting the raspi pi zero to my computer so that I can modify the config file or upload a new version of the haxo001 script.

Could you please help me with how to connect?

I read that the serial console signals on connector J4. The pins match the same pinout as pins 6,8,10 on the
Raspberry Pi Header.

I have some questions:

1. When I hold the haxophone then which pin is which on the J4 conector?
   From left to right: Is it
   pin 10 - pin 8 - pin 6
   UART RX - UART TX - GND
   or the other way round?
   So the GND is where j4 is printed on the Haxophone?

2. I use Ubuntu and installed minicom. What options should I use? Is a baud rate needed? I tried with
   minicom -D /dev/ttyUSB0
   but for now, when I turned on the haxophone via usb pwr I did not get the console boot up log displayed. Minicom tells me at the bottom that it is offline.

Any help is much appreciated!

I just found the answer:
I ignored this information:
"You need to connect your cable's TxD to the Raspberry Pi RxD and your cable's RxD to the Rasperry Pi TxD. If you are using an FTDI cable, this is how the colors line up."

So I switched Tx and Rx cables and now it works!
