Hi. Thanks for this amazing tool. I am a MacOS user, and I have a problem about opening the range folder / strategy folder. Clicking either of these buttons show no response. Can you help me figure out the problem? Thanks.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
On MacOS the dialog for opening folders defaults to /, the root directory. If you navigate from there to the folder that you are running the solver from, you can find the ranges and parameters folder.
For example, on a Mac, say you downloaded the zip file to your Downloads directory and unzipped it there. Then you would do the following:
click on / in the right hand pane.
→ a list should appear containing (at least) Applications, Library, System, and Users
click on Users
→ your username should appear below
click on your username
→ the files and folders from your home directory should now appear under your username
find Downloads there and click on it
click on TexasSolver-v0.2.0-MacOS
You should now see the ranges and parameters folder, similar to what is shown in the Introduction video (see screenshot below). Good luck.
Hi, I'm aware of the problem, you can just open the range folder and drag the range file in to the solver's range textedit, the range will be read automatically.
