Empathy - the story of the hero
•Describe how the problem affects the Hero

•If the problem is removed, how will the life of the Hero improve?

•Describe One fear keeping the Hero from “letting go” and doing something new

Joan, a program manager, has been asked to build a new application for her large midwestern university to help them track shipments between internal campus offices and determine how long a package has been enroute and when it will be delivered. The problem is Joan has never built a software application, and doesn’t know how long this will take to build or who to hire and how much it will cost.

(what is the problem, time is lost and how to regain it) be more generic in context of a hero suffering

She could get started much faster if she had someone or something to help her with describing the product in technical terms, understanding how long it would take to build and where and what it should be built with.

She is afraid that if she lets someone else take over these tasks it will cost her team money in hiring, as well as time to find the right person before she can even get started on the actual product.

Integrity - the story of you
•What personal story drove you to this startup?
I have been building software for enterprise and startups for many years and have always wanted to help the engineers who have trouble communicating clearly do so without feeling like they have yet another boss to please, or that will get in the way of them doing the job correctly. Engineers are often frustrated with lack of clarity around requirements and wish they could work with product teams who understood how to talk to engineers and what they have done before. (have suffered with the problem)

•What connection do you have with your buyer?
I have been involved in the procurement process as well and seen the sales process become overwhelming for myself and others when they have to start from a place of ignorance or lack of knowledge. They don’t like feeling stupid or that the other person can take advantage of them because of their lack of knowledge

•Why are you risking so much to help the buyer?
Innovation happens most often when obstacles to getting started are removed and a clear path is put in front of someone. Both the buyer and the developer will work better and focus on fixing the problems at hand in more innovative ways when they don’t have to spend as much time clarifying, communicating or setting the starting points up that slow them down. The excitement and momentum that comes with starting something new can be harnessed into the work that matters.

Vision - the story of freedom
What loss does the buyer accept by not changing?

Control over the product and vision can be lost, as well as budget and time when having to hire help. (focus the lost money vs time)

What changed so that a new choice is available?

The improvement of AI technologies as well as a base of trainable data for products and technical issues to provide technical translation.

Describe the buyer’s life before and after your help?

Previously they were hiring help, technical product manager, or going directly to a development agency to ask them to give them a quote and tell them how long it will take to build a product. (80% of work done at 20% of the cost) 20 sentences 60 second video
