Add more info about the project there (Organizer, Venues, survival kit, variants, ...)

Small remark about the BRUG page: It's titled Ruby Belgium User Group aka BRUG. I think it's confusing to have 2 different, yet similar labels. Shouldn't we stick to one or the other, for clarity?

Organizer

The way it's presented now is way too prominent. I don't think it's an important information to have for the people interested in the event. I would scratch it altogether, or demote it as a small footnote.

Venues

We only have one (for now). 😄

But yes, having a small section about the ICAB, with a map, can be considered. I think pictures are redundant, as we already show some for the event in another section.

survival kit

What's a BRUG survival kit? 😄

variants

We don't have variants (yet).

I think a Call for Speakers section would be useful. As well as a Call for Organizer, with link to the how to document.

Regarding the name I agree it lacks consistency. Let's choose a friendly name. I personaly like something like 'Code together'

Organizer

I think it's very important to allow members to identify who organize what. It's easier for them to ask for information if they know who they can talk to.

Venues

Whether there only one or many, it would make sense to give a little more details about it (Like the address for example).

Survival kit

Indeed, but it was just examples… the idea was to create more engaging content to inform people how it worked and how to organize it.
Based on your suggestion I'd add a 'How to contribute' section with the link to the vademecum
