admin Login page not found and 404 error after first install

Hello, I just installed Boxbilling for the first time and all went wonderfully until I selected to login administration area. The button renders the correct url from what Ive read: /index.php?_url=/bb-admin ------> bb-admin/staff/login. Unfortunately, I am getting a 404 error and page not found on server. The User login page is working correctly. I also checked the URL settings in the config file and all appears correct. Anything else I am missing? I also tried debug but it rendered no additional info on the page. Thank you for any assistance. (Installed latest 4.22.1.5)

Renaming htaccess.txt to .htaccess should work.

We also heavily advise you to switch to FOSSBilling, the well-maintained fork of BoxBilling. We are the team who revived BB from its 5 year silence and has been maintaining it for the last 2 years.

Hello, I have changed to FOSSBilling as suggested. I am installing through cpanel and keep getting internal server error. I cannot find requirements in the documents. Can you point me to the right direction? When you go to webdomains.cloud you can see that it directs to the install folder but gives error. Please help. I also tried renaming the htaccess as suggested with the box billing install but still no luck. You can also check your PHP logs to see what exactly is going wrong. They usually are found under /bb-data/log/.

file not found for admin login url. I never had to rename .htaccess, it was already named properly after install. Same for /signup. Please advise.

If you re using Nginx server you need to apply the nginx.conf in the example. But even then I still suggest switching to Fossbilling ...
