Issue or Feature Request:

Is it possible to you add some scheduler for bottlerocker update operator ? It would be a much more useful with possibility to set some maintanance window to update nodes ... not in every possible time like now ... for production environment or even a lot utilized dev environment it makes quite a lot chaos with current behaviour (like scheduling disabling and rebooting in middle of the day).

Thanks for reaching out.

We do have plan to implement a similar feature (prevent updates in certain time window #67) in our 1.0.0 milestone!

Is there any approximate date when you plan to release v 1.0.0 ? :)

Hi @pmacieje , thanks for being interested in using Bottlerocket Update Operator. Unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to provide you a firm date for release v1.0.0. The solution for this issue would rely on our v0.2.2 release. We will definitely prioritize this issue after v0.2.2 release. Our team would be actively working on this project. Feel free to subscribe #67 , I will make sure we post detail updates once we start working on the issue.

We did ship the time window feature in v1.0.0 but we are also considering adding support for date / times via Cron: #343

Will close this issue alongside that one when that feature is available - stay tuned!
