Feature Request: Ability To Input Unique ID For Author Field

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am trying to fixup the book entries for some Manga I'm reading, and I am running into a bit of friction with setting an author.

The Author in question is One, and this is not properly populating the list of radio buttons to select the Author when I go to confirm the edit.

Describe the solution you'd like
Would it be possible to have the Author field also accept the Author Page URL, or any of the Author Page metadata like OpenLibrary Key, etc? That way we can put a UID in that field.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A filterable list of Authors of unlimited length, sorted by similarity.

Additional context
In the case of One, the list returned is of fixed length and seems to be deterministicly generated, so no matter how many times I try, the entry for them I need simply never shows up.
