Plans for Bolt 6 / Symfony 6 / Stimulus / API Platform 3

Are there plans to update bolt to the last libraries, especially Symfony 6 and the soon-to-be-released ApiPlatform 2.7/3.0?

How can you help?

My forked repo now compiles, but gets stuck in the login (and then there are likely to be more errors). If someone can help me get past the login, I can upgrade some of the other components.

Hi, tacman,

There are certainly plans! No fixed timeline or determined approach just yet, though.

We'd have to bump the minimum required PHP to 8.0, which would also require a major version bump in Bolt itself. And we should do the migration in steps, I assume: First bump to SF 6, then do the dependencies one by one (unless they are required because of version constraints).

If you have something (kinda) working, feel free to open a PR, marked as "work in progress".

Do you have time to look at my fork? In particular, if you can get the login working, I can address look at more of the admin pages.

I've invited you as a collaborator to my fork.

Obviously, this is a big change -- php, symfony, and I would also suggest API Platform 3 and Stimulus.
