error when accessing boltcms url #7915
Comments
Same here, I think this happens when you install Bolt without the content fixtures. Bolt will still have the default content types, so if you go to Homepage and add some contents to the fields in there, and save you should be able to see the homepage. It probably should be handled better internally, but that's the quick fix. |
@eduardomart i cant even see the homepage. When i opening cms url for the first time after installation then i got this error |
i cant even see above homepage . When i goto http://localhost:8000 for cms url then i got above error .There is no page showing except above error .How should i modify the homepage ? |
Have you used a CMS before? |
no, |
Ah ok, that's what I was wondering. So on a CMS you have a backend, which is where you make your edits and changes to the content of the website that visitors can see on the frontend. That's why I said to go to the backend, because there is no content in your Bolt CMS install, and that's why you see the error. Once you add something to the homepage in the backend, the frontend will display the content that you added. Hope this makes sense. |
