Presets colors doesn't work #74
Comments
Hello, I have no idea why it's not working, and without more information, I'm unable to help you |
Just tell me what information do you need? |
|
FYI this card hasn't changed for almost 1 year, so the problem comes either from Home Assistant (but I cannot reproduce it with the latest version), or from your setup. |

I noticed this as well, and thought that the extension just didn't work. But I happened to notice, that when I was adding multiple lights to a card, one of them (Hue Lightstrip) did work when clicking the presets. The other Hue lightstrips or bulbs did not respond to the presets. No errors in the console, same with Firefox and Chrome. All the Hue devices are connected through the Hue integration, there is also one purely Zigbee2MQTT connected lightstrip, which doesn't work either. All lights do turn on and off, but the preset color just doesn't seem to do anything. Edit: Ok, in my case I suppose it's just user error. I was trying to add multiple lights with the visual editor, assuming you can set a universal color preset for all of them through the UI, but didn't notice it adds the color presets per entity and defaults to the first proposed light entity (this is the one that worked with the above description). Sorry 🤦♂️ (@bokub ☝️) |
@DomoSnk From what I can see in your screenshot, the errors come from "kiosk-mode", there is nothing related to this card. @pullasuti Can you please share your card config ? |
Hello, After several months of running my script stopped changing the pre-set colors.
If I click on any of the colors nothing happen.
If I try to change the color from MQTT everything works.
