When attempting to switch BWS URL on existing wallet, the above error shows in bws.log every time I tap "Recreate" button (to register the wallet on the new BWS server)

are you hitting bws.bitpay.com or another instance?

Yes. "Switching the BWS URL" means "Switching the BWS URL to something other than Bitpay."

This response is returned by a non-bitpay instance using github master
