Is there value in adding a license for the site content?

Should presentations be covered by the same license as the rest of the content? Or should they be copyright by the presenters? (I don't think any presentations on the now site have license markings.)

I think publishing the homepage and talks under CC-BY-4.0 could potentially be a simple and effective approach.
