Blurhashes could be used to improve the LCP for content which contains several images.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Investigate how we might make use of blurhashes across canonical & AMP
  • Determine performance improvement vs. placeholder benchmark

Testing notes

Dev insight: Will Cypress tests be required or are unit tests sufficient? Will there be any potential regression? etc
