Dear Bastien Wirtz,

I hope this message finds you well. I have been an avid user of Homer for managing bookmarks, and I truly appreciate the simplicity and effectiveness of the platform. As I continue to integrate various systems within our organization, I have identified a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the utility and flexibility of Homer.

The Feature Request:
I would like to propose the implementation of authentication functionality within Homer, along with the capability to integrate with Casdoor for Single Sign-On (SSO) support. By incorporating authentication and SSO capabilities, Homer could seamlessly integrate into our ecosystem of applications, providing users with a unified and streamlined experience.

Rationale:
As organizations increasingly adopt diverse sets of tools and applications, the need for centralized authentication and SSO solutions becomes paramount. Casdoor, with its robust features and compatibility with various authentication protocols, serves as an excellent choice for implementing SSO in Homer. By leveraging Casdoor, Homer could offer users the convenience of accessing their bookmarks and links using their existing credentials, thereby enhancing user experience and simplifying access management for administrators.

Benefits of Authentication Integration with Casdoor:

Improved User Experience: Users can access Homer using their existing credentials, eliminating the need for multiple sets of login credentials.
Enhanced Security: Centralized authentication ensures that access to Homer is controlled and monitored, enhancing overall security posture.
Streamlined Access Management: Administrators can manage user access and permissions centrally through Casdoor, simplifying access management processes.
Interoperability: Integration with Casdoor enables Homer to seamlessly integrate with other applications and services within the organization's ecosystem.
Implementation Considerations:

Integration with Casdoor's Authentication API to authenticate users and retrieve user information.
Configuration options within Homer to enable administrators to specify Casdoor as the SSO provider.
Support for standard authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect) to ensure compatibility with Casdoor.
I believe that the addition of authentication integration with Casdoor would greatly enhance Homer's value proposition and make it an even more indispensable tool for organizations seeking to centralize and streamline access to their bookmarks and links.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I am more than willing to provide further input or assistance in any way possible to help bring this feature to fruition.

Best regards
