is it possible to add also the support for IOT-GATE-iMX7 based on CL-SOM-iMX7 ?

Hello @KingRial, currently we don't have this board in plan, but you are welcome to contribute by adding support for it if you wish. You can have a look at the existing commits for a similar board, the variscite mx7, available at https://github.com/balena-os/balena-variscite
