Is there any functionality with the current version of the StoreLocator to order the locations by shortest distance first? Ideally I'd like to display how far away each location is from the location searched for by the user but I can't seem to find a way of setting this up in its current version. Would be a great addition!

I would be most interested in this option too.

I'm very interested in this - I want to show only the closest store, so if I limit to one, I only get the alphabetical first item in the list, rather than the closest.
