How does redshift.copy deal with string truncation?

Let’s say I have a data frame with a 100k character string in it. How do I use awswrangler.redshift.copy to get that into redshift without shortening the string while it’s still in the data frame? Cause if you have some magic bullet please let me know, I have rds snapshot exports in parquet with long strings that I’m bending over backwards to get into redshift.
