AssaultCube Keyboard Issue

Hello i have a Raspberry Pi 4 and compiled Latest Assault Cube v1.3.0.2 in latest Raspbian Buster Lite

i run the game with a script i made that has this inside:

./native_client --home=/home/pi/.assaultcube/v1.3

the game runs but the keyboard is not working only the mouse is working
i tried different keyboards the same issue
tried also older assault cube versions v1.3.0.0 / v1.3.0.1 the same issue

only in v1.2.0.2 the keyboard works

Is there a Workaround/Fix to this???
