Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download Dexed 0.9.7 Nightly.
  2. xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine Dexed_artefacts to make sure macOS doesn’t enforce binary signature.
  3. Copy Dexed_artefacts/Debug/CLAP/Dexed.clap to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/.
  4. Start REAPER.
  5. Choose Options → Settings → Plug-ins → LV2/CLAP → CLAP plug-in settings → Re-scan/Info.
  6. Choose “Clear cache and re-scan CLAP paths for all plug-ins”.

What to expect:

  • Dexed is successfully added to REPAER.

What I observed:

  • REAPER lists Dexed as “Plug-ins that failed to scan”.

Additional info:

  • Dexed version: 0.9.7 Nightly (2022-07-13)
  • REAPER version: v6.78/macOS-arm64 (2023-03-14)
  • OS version: macOS Ventura 13.3.1
  • CPU Chip: Apple M1 Max
