Hi,
I am able to create the reports with report designer and run them. But I wonder, is there any way we can integrate the reports with Visual Studio like the SSRS. Can we run the reports directly in visual studio.
Please let me know.

Thanks.

Reports are designed in Visual Studio, using the graphical user interface. If I am not mistaken, what you are asking, I would say learning more about the complete configuration would help. When Installing SSRS you need to :

  1. Install and Configure SQL Server 2016 Developer Edition
2.Install SQL Server Management Studio (For developing and testing queries)
    3.Install Visual Studio
  2. Install SQL Server Data Tools
    5.Install SQL Server Sample Database
    6.SQL Server Reporting Config Manager

When trying to run the report in visual studio, you would need to click the preview tab to render the data on your screen. toggle between preview and design tab to format data.
