Should there be a minimum supported Consul version?

Latest version is currently 1.13.1 and config.json.j2 has conditionals on 0.7.3 that was released almost 6 years ago. I appreciate that this role tries its fullest to be backwards compatible, but there is a bit of old stuff that could be cleaned up.
