The code has already been updated to support async functions, but no release has been made with these changes.

#90 i think this issue could be fixed with new release?

I'm pretty positive that would be fixed with a new release. Currently I'm using an ugly manual patch to fetch jasminewd from master and replace it: https://gist.github.com/arielserafini/509553967317fe1fb0b4070aa0fa1cfa
